Greetings to all stakeholders, partners, and friends of football across The Gambia and around the world.
In the Central River Region, football is more than just a sport it is a powerful engine for change. With 20 male teams and 8 female teams, we are nurturing raw talent, creating jobs, and uniting communities. But our mission goes beyond the game.
Through football, we are working to:
Fight illegal migration by giving our youth hope and opportunities at home
Advocate against female genital mutilation (FGM) and protect the rights of our girls
Raise awareness against early/forced marriage
Educate our communities about the dangers of illegal drugs
Create a pathway for employment and entrepreneurship in sports
Our vision is clear to use football as a tool for social development, empowerment, and unity.
Today, I am calling on donors, NGOs, local councils, embassies, corporate sponsors, and individuals to partner with us. Your support can help us build facilities, run awareness programs, empower women’s football, and keep our youth safe and inspired.
We are ready to engage, share proposals, and work hand-in-hand with any organisation willing to support football and community development in CRR.
Together, we can score more than goals we can score a better future.
“When we invest in football, we invest in the next generation.”
Usman Keita
