The Central River Region Football Association (CRRFA) under my leadership is committed to creating a fair, competitive, and development-focused football system in our region. Today, I am excited to announce key decisions for the 2025 Zonal Championship and beyond:
1. Free Registration for All Zonal Teams in CRR North & CRR South
To promote inclusiveness and ease financial challenges, all zonal teams from CRR North (teams) and CRR South ( teams) will enjoy free registration for this year’s zonal competition. This decision aims to encourage maximum participation and strengthen our zones.
2. Zonal Champions to Gain Automatic Third Division Qualification
For the first time in CRR football history, the winning zone of the Zonal Championship will automatically qualify for the Third Division League. This reform will motivate higher competition, reward performance, and give players a direct pathway to league football.
3. Restructuring of the Zonal Organizing Committee
To improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability, the current Zonal Organizing Committee will be dissolved and restructured. A new committee with fresh leadership and innovative ideas will be appointed to deliver better-organized and more attractive zonal competitions.
